Frugal Fashionista 2017

Recycled Runway is an event held in Corning, New York to benefit The Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes. All designs are created using materials that would normally be discarded as waste. This year my design incorporated 9 pairs of jeans, findings, a discarded embroidery hoop, jewelry created from the zippers and buttons of each pair of jeans, feathers created from left over denim scraps and wire, vintage dress lining used to create flowers.
